Project Overview
Ampthill Rayon Workers Inc. needed to bring its website back online after facing hosting-related issues. The previous website was built on the XARA platform and hosted with GoDaddy, but due to hosting challenges, the website had become inaccessible to users.
Ebizon was engaged to redevelop the website on WordPress and create a more stable, future-ready platform. The goal was not just to restore the website, but to rebuild it in a way that retained the familiar look and feel while making it easier for the client to manage going forward.

Project Objectives
The key objective was to redevelop the website on WordPress and make it live as quickly as possible with improved stability, usability, and long-term manageability.
Key objectives included:
- Redevelop the website on WordPress.
- Restore website accessibility for users.
- Retain the same look and feel for a smooth user experience.
- Resolve hosting-related challenges with a more reliable setup.
- Recreate important website pages including Home, Documents, Officers & Directors, Committees, and Contact Us.
- Organize union-related information in a clean and easy-to-navigate format.
- Make the website mobile-responsive across devices.
- Improve site stability, security, and maintainability.
- Provide training and documentation so the client team could manage the new WordPress website confidently.
Project Execution
1. Design and Discovery Process
Ebizon began with a detailed requirement analysis phase to understand the complete redevelopment scope. The team broke down the requirements into clear, actionable tasks, identified dependencies, defined delivery timelines, and prepared a detailed project plan.
During discovery, Ebizon reviewed the required website structure and identified the core pages that needed to be recreated in WordPress:
- Home Page.
- Documents Page.
- Officers & Directors Page.
- Committees Page.
- Contact Us Page.
The Home Page was planned to include an overview of Ampthill Rayon Workers Inc., its mission statement, organization background, union profile content, and key callouts such as “Support Your Union.” The Documents Page was planned as a central repository for union-related agreements, contracts, documents, and image showcases.
This phase helped ensure the redeveloped website would stay familiar to existing users while becoming more stable, structured, and easier to manage.
2. Development and Customization
After the discovery phase, Ebizon set up a WordPress staging environment and began redevelopment. The website was rebuilt using GeneratePress to retain the design direction and Elementor Page Builder to recreate the website pages.
The redevelopment scope included:
- Home Page: Organization overview, mission statement, background, and union callouts.
- Documents Page: Repository for agreements, contracts, documents, and images.
- Officers & Directors Page: Static tabular layout for office bearers, leadership roles, names, designations, and departments.
- Committees Page: Clean tables or grouped sections showing committee names, roles, and member listings.
- Contact Us Page: Address change note, address change button, and official contact details.
The Contact Us page also included a button redirecting users to an external Wufoo form for address changes.
The redevelopment was completed with a mobile-responsive approach, using readable images, viewport meta tags, and layouts that worked smoothly in both landscape and portrait modes without distortion or stretching.
3. Content Restructuring in WordPress
Since the project was a redevelopment, the focus was on rebuilding and restructuring the available website content within WordPress rather than performing a platform-to-platform migration.
Ebizon recreated and organized the website’s key content areas, including:
- Organization overview.
- Mission statement.
- Union background and profile content.
- Documents, agreements, and contracts.
- Officer and director information.
- Committee details.
- Contact information.
- Address change instructions and external form redirect.
The content was structured in WordPress so the client could manage updates more easily after launch. This helped create a cleaner, more maintainable website while preserving the essential information users needed.
4. URL Structure and SEO Preservation
The redevelopment included SEO-friendly implementation to help the new WordPress website remain accessible and discoverable after launch.
Ebizon planned to include visible and invisible tags such as keywords and meta tags for primary links and landing pages. Google Analytics tracking was also planned across all pages to help monitor website traffic, user behavior, popular content, visitor geography, and search terms used to find the website.
As part of SEO preservation, the redeveloped WordPress website included:
- SEO-optimized theme setup.
- Clean page structure.
- Mobile-responsive implementation.
- Metadata support for important pages.
- GA4 tracking.
- Stable hosting recommendation.
- Launch checks to reduce broken access issues.
Where needed, old page paths could be mapped to the new WordPress structure so returning users could continue accessing important pages with minimal disruption.
5. Thorough Testing and Quality Assurance
Ebizon followed a structured QA process to validate website stability, functionality, and launch readiness.
The QA process included:
- Project planning.
- Development validation.
- Manual QA testing.
- Functional validation.
- Defect logging.
- Bug fixing.
- Re-testing fixed defects.
- Final stability checks before launch.
The QA team executed manual test scenarios, validated website functionality, identified and logged defects, retested fixes, and ensured that the website was stable and ready for launch.
6. Launch and Ongoing Support
Before launch, the website went through Client Acceptance Testing. During this phase, the client team reviewed the redeveloped website, shared feedback, and reported any bugs through Zoho issues. Ebizon then supported the Client Acceptance Testing meeting to confirm that the required functionality was ready before deployment.
Ebizon also included training and documentation as part of the engagement. Two online training sessions of 1–2 hours each were planned using a “train the trainer” approach. After the sessions, Ebizon provided documentation to help the client team understand how to manage the new WordPress website.
The project was managed using an Agile approach with coordination between the project manager, developer, QA team, and client. Communication was planned through email, Basecamp, Microsoft Teams, and Zoho ticket management.

Client’s Feedback
“It’s not often that I take the time to offer words of appreciation to a tech company. Most are fine, some are not, but occasionally I come across one that is simply great, and whose services should be justly rewarded. I came across Ebizon in a moment of panic for a problem that needed rapid resolution. Their response was rapid, intelligent and professional, with service not seen these days of AI bots lacking not only intelligence but also the touch that only a human can provide in moments of great need. They fully considered my needs, proposed a fair price, and offered a professional and well-planned program that fit within my time frame. I recommend them highly“
